On September 20th, 2017, the Faculty of Business held a joint Meeting with Mentors for Year 2016/2017 and 2017/2018 International Business Cohort students, in Room T103, Tai-Fung Building. The Program Coordinator of the International Business Cohort, Professor Roberts, attended the meeting, congratulated the new students enrolled in this semester, and welcomed back those from the previous year. In the 2017/2018 IBC intake, 13 students from mainland China with high scores in their entrance examinations have been awarded scholarships. 4 students from the 2016/2017 have also excelled and been awarded scholarships. Professor Roberts expressed her thanks to all the mentors for advising students from both years. Professor Roberts briefly introduced the special activities for the new semester, and hoped that all students would benefit from and enjoy from these activities. The program supervisor, Mrs. Selina Jiang, announced the mentor list for past and incoming students. Students and mentors then socialized together and got to know each other, in a pleasant and relaxed setting, with tea and refreshments. The meeting ended in a warm, harmonious, and successful atmosphere.
