I had an extremely substantial and meaningful summer vacation. I visited several places in China where I hadn’t gone before, took an ILETS and GMAT test which I had prepared for two years, and went to the UBC as an exchange student for a month. After these significant precious experiences, I know who I am and what I am interested in more clearly. Moreover, I have bigger motivation and better methods to pursue my dreams and overcome difficulties.
Fortunately, during the VSP in UBC, I met thousands of excellent students from other schools and made lots of fantastic friends. I studied with them in the library and learned many useful study methods.
During the time in UBC, not only did I learn significant knowledge, but also visited fantastic places. I climbed the Rocky Mountains and saw amazing beautiful lakes. I went to Tofino to see pretty beaches and came across surprising whales when I was rowing a boat. What’s more, I took excellent pictures and bought valuable souvenirs in Whistler and Victoria……. I enjoyed my trip very much and I learned that study is an important thing, but not the only thing in life. We should do something else that we are interested in. In this way, we will always be in a good mood and have a higher quality of life.
