On February 1st, the Faculty of Business invited renowned Professor Wang Zhongming from Zhejiang University to deliver an academic seminar to MBA students in the Cultural Center Hall.

Before the seminar, Dean José Alves delivered a warm welcome speech and introduced Prof. Wang Zhongming to the students. He then presented him with a souvenir and took a commemorative photo to express gratitude and welcome.

Prof. Wang delivered a lecture on the topic of "Sustainable Management Model and Green Innovation Capacity Development." He first explained the three major trends in business education: competence development, industry upgrading, and green transformation. He illustrated current industry practices about green innovation, which triggered a fruitful debate with the students.

Furthermore, he explained the five-force management model, with ecological force management at its core, along with resilience and empowerment. The other forces are teamwork, innovation, culture, and operations.

Professor Wang engaged students in group discussions focusing on sustained high performance. He pointed out the need for strategies in sustainability management. Moreover, he encouraged students to continue learning beyond the classroom.

The event provided a delightful atmosphere, offering a variety of delicious food and beverages. The students expressed their appreciation for the valuable insights gained and extended their heartfelt gratitude to Professor Wang for his excellent explanations.
