In an effort to broaden our students' understanding of how corporate sustainability is reflected in business practices, the Faculty of Business(FOB) at Macau City University recently arranged the CompanyField Visit to Wynn Palace integrated resort. On May 6, 2022, Dr Tiffany Leung, Dr Bowen Dong andDr Yihui Tian and Dr Bowen Dongled a group of thirtythirty-two DBA, MBA, and BBA students to this event.

The tour began with presentations from representatives of the Wynn Palace. Ms. Isly Kong, the Assistant Manager of Community and Government Relations, presented how Wynn Macau fulfills its corporate social responsibility through the "Wynn Care" and "Wynn Employee Volunteer Team" programs. Ms. Ruby O, the Director of Environmental, Social and Governance(ESG) delivered a presentation on Wynn's efforts to improve environmental, social and governance performance. Her words were delivered with enthusiasm, emphasizing that Wynn Macau not only fully incorporates environmental considerations into every aspect of its business operations, but also actively promotes sustainability within the local community.

The companyfield visit covered several innovative environmental protection facilities includes the leading food waste management system known as Winnow Vision System, the vertical garden, the aquaponic system and the Nordaq 2000 onsite automated water bottling plant. In pParticularly, the Nordaq 2000 Refilling System can fill 2,000 bottles of water perevery hour and is anticipated to save 8 million plastic bottles yearly. At the end of this companyfield visit, students were also given the opportunity to tour high-end hotel suites equipped with intelligent control systems.
