The International Business Cohort (IBC) program from the Faculty of Business (FOB) at the City University of Macau enjoyed a day the Doppelmayr SkyCab facilities at the Wynn Palace hotel and casino on Friday, 11 March 2022. The afternoon was spent with Mr. Dolibor Vodenicarski, the managing director for Doppelmayr here in Macau, where the 4th year students from the Global Strategic Management class were able to learn how Doppelmayr as an Austrian company manages its duties for the SkyCab system with the operations of Wynn Palace, and the challenges of cross-cultural management in the midst of the pandemic. The event examined the SkyCab system from operations control, maintenance procedures, health and safety regulatory compliance, and ending with a tour on the SkyCab itself around the beautiful Wynn Palace facilities. The students learned something useful for international management issues, and had a great day with a great international corporation who were happy to host a bright group of eager minds in management learning.
