After graduated from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (PolyU), Angus pursued his further studies in The University of Hong Kong (HKU), Chinese University of Hong Kong, Warwick University and University of Oxford. He contributes much of his effort in promoting education. Apart from serving as Chairman and Member of Advisory Committee for different departments of HKU, PolyU and Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, he is an Industrial Fellow of Warwick University, Adjunct Professor of PolyU and Visiting Professor for Civil Aviation University of China. He is President of Hong Kong Aviation Industry Association, Steering Committee Member of Hong Kong International Aviation Academy, Member of Hong Kong Airport Technology Advisory Council and Member of HKSAR Government’s Enterprise Support Scheme Assessment Panel.

 Angus was awarded “China’s Outstanding Persons for Enterprise Innovation of Year 2010” by Chinese Association of Productivity Science and “China Economic Personage” in 2015, by China Economic Daily, Economic News Magazine and China Economic Information & Agency. In 2017, he was awarded the first Outstanding Mechanical Engineering Alumni in the 80 years history of PolyU.
